The Sherlotronics Panic Button Remote is a small, wireless "help" button. When pressed, it sends a radio signal to a compatible Sherlotronics receiver or alarm panel, instantly triggering an emergency alert — a siren, a strobe light, a signal to an armed response company, or all three, depending on how your system is set up.
It's designed to be carried on you (as a pendant on a chain, clipped to a belt, or kept in a pocket/bag) or mounted somewhere within easy reach, so help can be called for with a single press — no need to dial a phone or shout for attention.
| Feature | What it does | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Big, easy-press button | Large single button, no fine motor control needed | Ideal for elderly users, frail-care residents, or emergency situations where fumbling could cost time |
| Code-Hopping encryption | The remote's signal code changes every time it's pressed | Prevents criminals from "grabbing" and reusing your code to fake a signal or disable your system |
| Moisture/splash-proof design | Resists rain, sweat, and everyday moisture | Can be worn or carried outdoors and in humid conditions without failing |
| Long-range antenna design | Antenna is built into the pendant chain itself | Increases signal range by around 50% compared to a standard remote |
| Low battery warning LED | Flashes when the battery is running low | You'll know to replace the battery before it fails — not after |
| Compact pendant style | Small and lightweight | Comfortable to wear around the neck, clip to a keyring, or keep in a pocket |

The Panic Button Remote is a transmitter — it needs a compatible Sherlotronics receiver (e.g. the RX4-500 or the Sherlotronics Fixed Panic Panel Kit) to actually trigger a siren, strobe, or alarm response. If you don't already have a Sherlotronics receiver or panic panel installed, you'll need one alongside this remote for it to work.
