The RISCO 8 Zone Expander is an add-on module that increases the number of wired (hardwired) zones your LightSYS or ProSYS Plus alarm panel can support. Rather than being a full alarm system on its own, it plugs into your existing panel and gives it 8 extra wired inputs — for connecting more door contacts, PIR sensors, glass-break detectors, smoke detectors, and other wired devices.
Think of it as adding an extension socket board to your alarm panel: your panel's "brain" stays the same, but it can now "listen" to 8 more sensors than before.
